The geographical coordinate range is12130 ′ ~123 25 ′ and 29 32 ′ ~ 3104 ′ north latitude.

It is adjacent to the Pacific Ocean in the east, the maritime boundary of Xiangshan County in the south, Hangzhou Bay in the west and Shanghai in the north.
