Considering that the garbage in the small trash cans on both sides of the street is mainly the packaging of food and drink discarded by pedestrians, it is much simpler than the domestic garbage in residential areas and easy to classify. These small trash cans don't need pedestrian classification. After the garbage in the small trash can is cleared, the environmental protection department will hire someone to sort it.

In order to prevent residents' unclassified domestic garbage from being thrown into these small trash cans, the design of small trash cans can be improved, the garbage entrance can be greatly reduced, and only common catering bags can be put. And in the small trash can, it is stated that only catering packaging materials can be put in, and other domestic garbage is not allowed. It can also be said that the small trash can is a kind of classified trash can for the convenience of pedestrians (eating and drinking). Only accept garbage such as food and beverage packaging, and do not accept other kinds of domestic garbage.

Another way is to get rid of the small trash cans on both sides of the street. In Singapore, there is no small trash can convenient for pedestrians, and pedestrians are forbidden to eat (drink) with beverage bottles or unsealed food bags. Therefore, after buying food or drinks, Singaporeans either take them home or eat them in front of shops or shops before leaving. In order to facilitate pedestrians, Singapore stipulates that shops are obliged to recycle and classify the food and beverage packages left by pedestrians and hand them over to the environmental protection department for treatment, otherwise the shops will be severely punished. Singapore's approach is more radical, but it is more difficult and more difficult to implement.
