Article 2 These Measures shall apply to the protection and management of ancient and famous trees within the administrative area of this Municipality. Article 3 The term "ancient trees" as mentioned in these Measures refers to trees whose age is more than 100 years. Trees over 300 years old are all first-class ancient trees; The rest are secondary ancient trees.

The term "famous trees" as mentioned in these Measures refers to precious and rare trees with historical, scientific and cultural values and important commemorative significance. Fourth city landscaping administrative departments responsible for the protection and management of ancient and famous trees within the administrative area of this Municipality. County (city) and district urban landscaping administrative departments are specifically responsible for the protection and management of ancient and famous trees, and accept the supervision and guidance of the municipal landscaping administrative departments.

Planning, construction, urban management, finance, forestry, transportation and other relevant departments shall, in accordance with their respective responsibilities, do a good job in the management of ancient and famous trees. The death of ancient and famous trees should be confirmed by the county (city) and district landscaping administrative departments, and reported to the municipal landscaping administrative departments.
