The property with air conditioning units installed on the external wall requires rectification.

Legal analysis: it needs to be rectified according to the requirements of the property. If there are potential safety hazards in the property, which endanger the public interests and the legitimate rights and interests of others, the responsible person shall timely repair and maintain it, and the relevant owners shall cooperate. If the responsible person fails to perform the maintenance obligation, it can be maintained by the property service enterprise with the consent of the owners' meeting, and the expenses shall be borne by the responsible person.

Article 291bis of the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), if the circumstances are serious, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than one year, criminal detention or public surveillance, and shall also or only be fined. Whoever commits the acts mentioned in the preceding paragraph and constitutes other crimes shall be convicted and punished in accordance with the provisions of heavier punishment.
