1. The ways to report illegal vehicles are as follows:

(1) If the vehicle is parked within the jurisdiction of the municipal government, directly call 122 or 1 10 to report to the traffic police;

(2) Parking vehicles at will is in public places such as residential areas or large shopping malls, and you can directly complain to the property or administrator;

(3) Vehicles are parked in the parking lots of companies, enterprises and institutions. You can call the logistics security office of enterprises and units to report and ask the person in charge of the work to help correct the illegal parking behavior.

2. Legal basis: Article 93 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China.

Anyone who violates the provisions of road traffic safety laws and regulations on motor vehicle parking and temporary parking can point out the illegal act, give a verbal warning and order him to leave immediately.

If the driver of a motor vehicle is not at the scene or refuses to leave immediately although he is at the scene, thus obstructing the passage of other vehicles and pedestrians, a fine of not less than 20 yuan but not more than 200 yuan may be imposed, and the motor vehicle may be towed to a place that does not obstruct the traffic or parked at a place designated by the traffic management department of the public security organ. The traffic administrative department of the public security organ shall not charge the parties the trailer fee, and shall inform the parties of the parking place in time.

If the motor vehicle is damaged due to improper traction methods, it shall be liable for compensation according to law.

Second, what will happen if the violation is not handled?

1, late fee. If the traffic management department issues a ticket for violation of regulations, and the owner fails to deal with it within 15 days, the ticket will generate a late fee, but the fine will not be increased. The late payment fee will increase by 3% every 1 day, and the maximum amount will not exceed the fine principal;

2. Buckle the car. If the violation is not handled for more than 3 times, the driver's license will be detained if it is found by the traffic management department on the road. If it is not handled for more than 10 times, the traffic management department will detain the car according to law;

3, can't check the car. If the violation is not handled, the annual inspection of the vehicle will fail. However, someone sued the traffic police detachment, and the court confirmed that the administrative act was illegal by not affecting the annual inspection and not handling violations. However, in order to avoid trouble, it is recommended to deal with violations early;

4. Insurance refuses to pay. When a traffic accident occurs, the insurance company has the right not to compensate if the violation is not handled in time;

5. Not transferable. Before the car is transferred, the illegal information should be dealt with, otherwise the illegal information will be borne by the owner of the transferred car.
