Introduction: In 2007, the neighborhood committee of Gumeiqi Village was formed by the merger of the former neighborhood committee of Gumeiwu Village and the former neighborhood committee of Gumeiqi Village. At present, it has jurisdiction over three communities, 1 military camp, namely, Gumeiwu Village, No.35 Gudai Road, Gumeiliu Village, No.440 Gumei Road, Gumeiqi Village, No.50 Pingyang Road, and Gudai Road 15.

The residential area covers an area of 62,000 square meters, with a building area of147,900 square meters. There are 34 residential areas with 20 14 households and 56 12 permanent residents, with a green area of 27,900 square meters. Five villages and six villages are managed by FTU Property Company, and seven villages are managed by Ke Rui Property Company. There are teaching points in community schools, reading rooms, activity rooms for the elderly, table tennis rooms and multifunctional activity rooms. There are various teams 14 in the community, which has built a platform for community residents to carry out various cultural and sports activities.

Gu Meiqi Village Neighborhood Committee has been successively rated as Shanghai Community Construction Demonstration Neighborhood Committee, Shanghai Harmonious Neighborhood Committee, Shanghai Civilized Community, Safe Community, Green Community and Minhang District Civilized Community.

There are tourist attractions such as Jinjiang Paradise, Zhao Jialou Ancient Town, Qibao Street, Tropical Storm Water Park and Minhang Sports Park near Gumeiqi Village Community, and there are special foods such as Laojie Tangtuan, Qibao rotten meat, braised pork, fermented rotten meat and Qibao old wine.
