At the end of last year, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development compiled and issued the Guangdong Provincial Standard "Technical Specification for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Construction" according to the requirements of the State Council, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Guangdong Provincial Government, and it has been implemented since February this year. The reporter learned from the Foshan Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau that on February 18, the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, together with the Municipal Natural Resources Bureau and the Municipal Development and Reform Bureau, issued a notice on the implementation of this document, requiring relevant departments in various districts to implement the requirements. For projects that issue planning permits for construction projects after February 1, the proportion requirements of new parking lots with charging facilities must be strictly implemented. Including parking lots and garages in newly-built residential areas, charging facilities should be built and installed according to 10%~20% parking spaces, or electricity should be reserved to the terminal distribution box in the parking lot; Parking lots and garages of new office buildings, shopping malls, hotels and other public construction projects should be equipped with charging piles or reserved interfaces for charging and replacing facilities at a ratio of not less than 20% of the total parking spaces; New public parking lots and new on-street parking spaces shall be equipped with fast charging piles at a rate of not less than 30%.
