Chengdu, abbreviated as Rong, is the capital, sub-provincial city, megacity and core city of Chengdu metropolitan area of Sichuan Province. Chengdu is located in the middle of Sichuan Province and the west of Sichuan Basin, with a total area of 102 54'~ 104 53' east longitude and 30 05' ~ 3126' north latitude.
