I. Introduction

1, Xining Education Bureau is the government department in charge of education and language work in Xining. There are 747 schools of all levels and types in Xining, with 380 students1person, including 33 kindergartens, 64,900 kindergarten children, 308 primary schools and teaching points, 55,900 students/kloc-0, 87 junior high schools, 75,700 students and 49 ordinary high schools.

2. There are 3 special education schools with 87 students1person. There are 7,882 faculty members in cities, 4,805 in counties and 4,849 in rural areas, and 7,462, 4,655 and 4,804 full-time teachers respectively. There are 7,590 full-time teachers in primary schools, 5,957 in junior high schools and 3,374 in senior high schools.
