According to the original design, the building model of the building is nine square buildings going straight into the back building. Because the original owner of the land planned for the fourth time refused to transfer it to the ancestors of the Wen family, three buildings were built horizontally and three vertically, which was called nine buildings. Every three buildings have six patios, and * * * is eighteen wells. The construction land is more than 70 mu. The walls and pavilions are topped with refractory bricks. Some rooms in the center of the house are made of pebbles and lime mortar, and some walls are made of mud bricks. The patio and eaves are inlaid with feldspar strips. The hall is supported by green stone pillars with wooden supports. The third hall of the middle building is the main building model, and the golden wooden frame is carved with dragons and painted with phoenixes; The front building has two wings, and four screens are used instead of walls. Each screen is engraved with landscapes, flowers and birds and figures. Unfortunately, it was stolen by a thief one night in June 2003. There are front porches on both sides of the main entrance on the third floor, all supported by bluestone and carved with beams and painted buildings; On the left side, the picture is "Inspection Map of Inspection Department Officials", surrounded by long queues, and on the right side, it is "Returning home with the best clothes", which is very popular and spectacular. The windows of the pavilion are carved with large bluestone and engraved with dragon and tiger windows. The doorframes and doorsills of the hall are carved with bluestone, and horses and various shapes are carved on the doorsills. Above the main hall hangs a gold plaque of "Bamboo Martial Hall". On the gate of the central building, there is a gold-plated plaque engraved with "Three Realms and Six Products", and on the pillar of the central hall, there is a gold-plated plaque engraved with "Tian Feng's Order". The fire brick walls in the hall are all artificially polished surfaces.

The construction and material selection of well 18 on the ninth floor are very fine. It is said that all the refractory bricks in the hall have been finely polished by hand. At that time, it was stipulated that a coolie could only grind three bricks a day, so it was very important to do fine work.

It is understood that Wen has been living and working in the enclosed house since the completion of the 18th well on the ninth floor. Eighteen wells on the ninth floor also preserved many precious cultural relics, but most of them were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. Since the founding of New China, more than 20 college students have been trained in enclosed houses.
