Mankind has been punished by nature and gradually realized the importance of environmental protection. In my hometown of Luchuan, a Kyushu River runs through the county seat. According to the old man, in the past, the water in the Kyushu River was crystal clear, and hot springs kept pouring out from the beaches along the river, attracting tourists from all directions. In summer, people often go swimming in rivers. Now, Kyushu River has become a "sewage river". The river is muddy and smelly. All kinds of garbage float on the river, and the number of hot springs is greatly reduced. It needs a pump to pump it up. People dare not swim in the river anymore. Isn't this the result of people destroying the environment? We should learn lessons and protect, clean and beautify the environment. Starting from me, starting from now, for the sake of the earth, for the future of mankind, and for us to have a beautiful living environment forever, I sincerely send you the following initiatives:

1.* * * Build a "conservation-oriented society" and save a drop of water, electricity and paper. Save water, tighten the faucet in time after use, avoid opening it, and advocate washing hands and faces with washbasin; Save electricity, turn off the power supply when electrical appliances are not in use; Save paper, use handkerchiefs and rags, and try to use paper on both sides.

2. In order to reduce air pollution and save energy, try to use public transportation, bicycles or walking.

3. In order to protect natural resources such as forests and minerals, try to buy commodities made of renewable materials that can be used for many times and for a long time; Reduce the use of disposable paper cups, disposable wooden chopsticks and lunch boxes.

Reduce the use of plastic bags, which are the culprit of white pollution.

Developing economy should not be at the expense of destroying the environment, but should be placed in the same position as protecting the environment.
