How to cancel the residence permit when the tenant has moved out?

The way for the tenant to apply for a residence permit is that the landlord can go to the local neighborhood Committee and the police station for cancellation with the certificate issued by the police station.

The process of canceling the residence permit is as follows:

1. The applicant submits an application at the window of the local service center with the required materials, fills in the application form, issues a receipt and prints the authorization;

2. Load the above materials and transport them to the local comprehensive management service station;

3, after the audit, and then handed over to the public security bureau.

The validity period of the residence permit is one year, so the holder should conduct annual examination every year, and go through the annual examination formalities with the relevant departments on the basis of his employment permit, resident ID card, rental contract, house property right certificate and other valid materials. If the residence permit has expired, the holder needs to go to the local police station to renew the residence permit, and there is no need to take photos again in the process. However, if the holder loses his residence permit, he has to pay the fees in 20 yuan. No matter how long the residence permit expires, it can be renewed, but it can only be continued after an interval of no more than 90 days, and it needs to be recalculated after 90 days.

To sum up: after the lessee withdraws the lease, the landlord can cancel the residence permit at the local neighborhood Committee and police station with the certificate issued by the police station. But in fact, the handling of the residence permit will not have any impact on the landlord, and the residence permit can be cancelled without refunding the rent.
