Institutional setup of Henan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology

According to Bian Yu (1996) No.2 document, our hospital is a legal entity of provincial institutions, with full budget management and 86 staff.

Internal organizational setup and responsibilities

1. Office:

Responsibilities: Responsible for the supervision and inspection of party affairs and government affairs, comprehensive coordination, personnel and labor, administrative logistics, civilization creation, post responsibilities, etc. Responsible for the service management of retired cadres and the implementation of the work objectives of veteran cadres.

2. Infrastructure Archaeological Office:

Responsibilities: Responsible for the management of scientific research projects and scientific research plans, coordinating and checking the completion of field archaeological excavations and cooperation with infrastructure projects, as well as the management of archaeological excavation technicians.

3. The first laboratory:

Responsibilities: Responsible for the archaeological work of underground cultural relics in the early stage and related projects, undertake scientific research projects assigned by superiors and institutes, and cooperate with the archaeological work of cultural relics in capital construction.

4. The second laboratory:

Responsibilities: Responsible for the archaeology and management of six workstations in Zhengzhou, Xinzheng, Jiyuan, Sanmenxia, Dengfeng and Xishan, and undertake scientific research projects assigned by superiors and research institutes.

5. The third laboratory:

Responsibilities: Responsible for the archaeological work of underground cultural relics in Zhou and related projects, undertake scientific research projects assigned by superiors and research institutes, and cooperate with the archaeological work of cultural relics in infrastructure.

6. Science and Technology Archaeological Room:

Responsibilities: Responsible for interdisciplinary protection and research of cultural relics.

7. Editorial Department:

Responsibilities: Responsible for the editing, publishing and distribution of huaxia archaeology and the editing and publishing of scientific research achievements.

8. Financial Planning Section:

Responsibilities: responsible for the financial management of the institute and the use and management of special funds for cultural relics protection.

9. Reference room:

Responsibilities: Responsible for the collection, management and utilization of cultural relics, as well as the management, reading and information service of books and materials.

10. technical room:

Responsibilities: responsible for the protection of cultural relics in the institute, the technical treatment and protection research of unearthed cultural relics in archaeological excavations.

Responsibilities: Responsible for the supply of administrative logistics materials, management and maintenance of equipment.

12. Safety section:

Responsibilities: Responsible for the safety of cultural relics collected by the Institute, cultural relics of field archaeological sites and state-owned assets, as well as public security and fire control management.
