In the battle against SARS and human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza, the goal of zero cases and no epidemic areas was achieved; At present, 147 of the 66 medical units at township level and above in the whole region have realized the direct reporting of epidemic situation through the network, and basically formed a disease reporting system covering urban and rural areas, which has played a vital role in the early warning of infectious diseases, disease monitoring, prevention and control of key infectious diseases and response to public health emergencies in our city. Since 2003, there has been no cholera epidemic in our city for six consecutive years; The control of epidemic hemorrhagic fever ranks in the forefront of the province, and the incidence rate dropped from 24.27/65438+ 10,000 in 2004 to 1.33/65438+ 10,000 in 2008 for four consecutive years. As the first batch of pilot hospitals in the province, Angang General Hospital of our city has participated in the symptom monitoring project of major infectious diseases in Liaoning Province since July 2007, which has provided scientific basis for the symptom monitoring and early warning of infectious diseases in our province. As the only pilot city in Liaoning Province to monitor the symptoms of students' absenteeism caused by infectious diseases, our city has established a symptom monitoring and early warning system and working mechanism in 15 primary and secondary schools and kindergartens, which has moved forward the prevention and control of infectious diseases and provided a scientific basis for the implementation of symptom monitoring of students' infectious diseases in the province.

By the end of June, our city reported 5758 cases of legal infectious diseases 19 species this year, which was 14.96% lower than the same period last year. Except AIDS, measles, gonorrhea, syphilis and hand, foot and mouth disease, the reported incidence of other 14 infectious diseases all decreased. Since May 2008, 43 cases of hand, foot and mouth disease/KLOC-0 have been effectively treated, including 8 cases of public health emergencies, and there were no deaths in the reported cases of 14 17. At present, in the prevention and control of influenza A (H 1N 1), the center is scientific according to law, quick in response, standardized in management and control, and properly handled. Six fever incidents of returnees have been ruled out in the whole region, and close contacts 16 people have been tracked and isolated. Of the 3 suspected cases detected by the central laboratory, 1 was positive, but it was still positive after re-examination by the provincial CDC.

-The immunization program vaccine has maintained a high vaccination rate. According to the national expanded immunization program, our city provides children with nine kinds of vaccines, such as BCG vaccine, hepatitis B vaccine, polio vaccine, DTP vaccine, measles vaccine, group A meningococcal vaccine, group A+C meningococcal vaccine and Japanese encephalitis vaccine, free of charge. National second-class vaccines are vaccines that citizens voluntarily vaccinate at their own expense, mainly including influenza, rabies, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, chickenpox and pneumonia. Over the years, the first-class vaccination rate reported by the national immunization plan of our city has always remained above 98%. Carry out AIDS monitoring for high-risk groups, regularly follow up HIV-infected people, and provide free antiviral drugs for AIDS patients. Actively strive for AIDS projects. In the past few years, we have won many projects, such as China AIDS Association, China UNICEF, and the fifth round of AIDS project in China. Especially since the fifth round of the Global Fund AIDS Project was launched in our city, 2 1 department has been encouraged to participate in AIDS projects and 8 grass-roots organizations have been supported to undertake AIDS projects through the supporting funds given by local governments. Established 16 voluntary counseling and testing points and 3 standardized STD clinics. Publicity and education, behavioral intervention, voluntary counseling and testing, condom use publicity and STD clinic management were widely carried out among the target population to fully understand the distribution of high-risk groups in our city. The intervention coverage rate of high-risk groups reached over 90%. Through the project work, the comprehensive prevention and control level of AIDS in our city has been effectively improved. At present, the work of the global fund AIDS project in our city ranks among the advanced in China. Since the first case of HIV infection was found in 1996, by June 2009, there were 108 people infected with HIV in the whole city, including 16 people who became ill and 12 people who died. The main route of transmission is sexual transmission.

The prevention and treatment of chronic non-communicable diseases in our city has always been at the forefront of the province. The report data of cancer incidence in our city has been included in the Collection of Cancer Incidence in Five Continents, and its statistical data is in line with the world and international standards. In 2008, the top three causes of death of residents in our city were: heart disease, malignant tumor and cerebrovascular disease; The top three malignant tumors in men are lung cancer (83.3/65438+ 10,000), liver cancer (37.2/65438+ 10,000) and gastric cancer (30.0/65438+ 10,000), while the top three malignant tumors in women are breast cancer (66.7/65438+ 10,000) and lung cancer. Endemic fluorosis is distributed in Haicheng, taian county, Xiuyan County and qianshan district, with hot spring areas such as Haicheng, Xiuyan and Qian Shan as the hardest hit areas, involving 43 towns165,000 people. The central laboratory has microbiology laboratory and physical and chemical laboratory, with 38 professional technicians, accounting for 26% of the professional technicians in the center. It has 79 large-scale precision instruments such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, atomic absorption spectrometer, ion chromatography, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, PCR and ultra-high-speed centrifuge, which can undertake the detection of infectious diseases, food, drinking water, cosmetics, wading products, disinfection products, health products, toxic and harmful substances, other products related to human health, sanitary quality of production and living environment and samples related to public health emergencies. At present, our center has established AIDS diagnosis laboratory, national food pollutant monitoring network laboratory, national food-borne disease network laboratory and national influenza monitoring network laboratory. In September, 2003, the center successfully passed the metrological certification evaluation organized by the Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, and 296 inspection indexes of 12 passed the certification. After several years' efforts, the testing ability of our center has been greatly improved, and there are 402 certification testing items.

In cooperation with the Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, we have completed the medical science and technology research project "Study on the Impact of Air Pollution on Residents' Health in Seven Cities of Liaoning Province", the scientific research project "Epidemiological Investigation on Residents' Injury and Mental Health in Liaoning Province" in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan of Liaoning Province, and the key discipline construction project "Investigation on the Survival Period of Malignant Tumors in Anshan City" in Liaoning Province. A prospective cohort study on the impact of air pollution on children's health in Anshan was carried out in cooperation with Japan Women's Medical University. Participated in four research topics, such as national AIDS, viral hepatitis and other major infectious diseases prevention and control technology, AIDS patients' disease progress related factors research, and MSM cohort research. Four topics are under study: monitoring methods of persistent organic pollutants in water sources, photocatalytic treatment of titanium dioxide and determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by high performance liquid chromatography.
