If passengers on outlying islands need to return goods after picking up the goods, the duty-free shops on outlying islands shall go through the formalities of returning duty-free goods to the warehouse again. If it is necessary to refund the tax due to the return of goods, the passengers from outlying islands or duty-free shops shall apply to the customs within 1 year from the date of paying the tax, and after being approved by the customs, fill in the tax refund certificate and submit it to the original taxpayer for tax refund formalities at the designated bank (treasury).

If the duty-free shops on outlying islands need to exchange goods after picking up the goods, they shall ensure that the returned duty-free goods are completely consistent with the names, article numbers, specifications and models of the replaced duty-free goods, and shall be delivered to the passengers on outlying islands after being approved by the customs.
