Suzhou Changyuan Address Suzhou Changyuan Landscape Introduction
Suzhou Changyuan Suzhou Ancient City, north section of Yangyu Lane, has a temple lane. At the entrance of the lane, there is the "Suzhou Ancient Street Signboard" set up by Suzhou Cultural Relics Bureau. The words on the sign show that the lane is "406 meters long" and "there are relics such as Changyuan, Renzhong Temple and Fan Shi Home in the lane".
It is said that Changyuan was bought by the Taoist King in the late 20th century 10. It has been renovated. After more than half a century of wind and frost, the garden was seriously damaged. "Fortunately, the trees in the abandoned pool are still there, and the garden base is still there." 1979, Changyuan was included in the protection plan of classical gardens. 1988, residents moved out, rebuilt by Suzhou Classical Garden Construction Company, and renovated one after another.
Since the reconstruction of Changyuan for 30 years, it has been under the jurisdiction of enterprises for a long time and is not open to the outside world. Through the communication and coordination between Suzhou Landscaping Administration and relevant management agencies, Changyuan has made an appointment to open to the public since April this year, attracting many garden lovers to visit.
The scenery of Changyuan enters Changyuan through the foyer and yard, in front of which is the four-sided hall formerly known as Tonghua Bookstore. There is a cloister around the hall. You can walk along the cloister to the north of the hall, and your eyes will be suddenly enlightened. A pool in the garden, a lotus leaf field, a few goose yellow lotus flowers bloom beautifully, swaying slightly in the breeze at the end of summer, which is really lovable. Near the south end of the pool, you can go to the boat hall on the west side of the pool through the curved bridge. Chibei is the main hall, formerly known as Liu Yunshan Hall. The platform near the pool is spacious, with stone tables and chairs, and the orange trees on the side are covered with dark green oranges.
The promenade of Changyuan is quite distinctive, winding around the pool, ups and downs, connecting the main buildings in the park in series, providing tourists with sun protection and rain protection. Walking south from one end of the east corridor of the main hall, you will pass the Water Champs and two small pavilions near the water. There is a small courtyard between the pavilion gallery and the east wall of the garden, where lake stones are lit and bamboo plantains are planted. You can see through the round hole door and flower window on the gallery wall that the small scene is unique in scale.
Go along this long corridor to the end, turn west in front of the four halls, and you will arrive at the rockery piled up in the southwest of the garden. From the corridor to a small pavilion on the mountain, there is a couplet in the pavilion, "Sleeping in the clouds and whistling in the autumn wind, flying for a small moon." It is very pleasant to overlook the whole garden in the pavilion. From the west side of the pavilion, down the mountain via the rockery trail, there is a fork in the road ahead. All the way through the alley to the boat hall on the west side of the garden pool, all the way to the rockery cave under the pavilion, which adds to the fun of sightseeing.
It is understood that due to the consideration of orderly management, Suzhou Changyuan is currently scheduled to open on the first weekend of each month, with 50 people in the morning and 50 people in the afternoon every day. In the first few months, tourists were mainly Suzhou citizens. Thousands of miles away in Beijing, the capital, there is a Changyuan in China Garden Museum, which is based on Suzhou Changyuan.
