Many people attach great importance to the room door at home, and compare it in many ways at the expense of work. However, the very important doors (three defense doors) are often ignored, even the door covers are not included, which is extremely out of harmony with the indoor environment, especially the cheap doors equipped by individual developers, which are very bad in technology, style and color and spoil the scenery. . . The door is actually the most important one among all the doors in the house, the first impression of the whole room decoration, and often the most important sight of the living room and dining room. So we should attach great importance to it.

When decorating the door, pay attention to the following points:

1/ Real estate is the best alternative. If it cannot be replaced, one side of the door can be repainted.

2/ The whole house is mixed with white oil, and the door can be white oil or dark oil, but the door cover is best mixed with white oil to coordinate with the indoor skirting line. This is a combination of pure and mixed. Although it has a long history, it is still very fashionable.

3/ The doors of every room are dark and clear oil, such as walnut and cherry. It is best to choose dark and clear oil color for doors and door covers. If it is white or other light colors, the overall feeling will be unbalanced. 4/ If the door with dark oil cleaning effect is replaced, it is best to choose the inner steel plate, and the outer veneer is more elegant.

5/ Don't forget that every door frame has a threshold, which is generally much higher than the ground. Better install a doorstone. In this way, the whole door is completed.

Second, the baseboard

The skirting line not only plays a role in protecting the wall itself, but also occupies a considerable proportion in the beautiful proportion of home. It is the outline of the ground at home, and the line of sight often falls naturally on it. The baseboard with beautiful shape and exquisite workmanship can often play a role of four or two, adding a lot of color to your home. But the baseboard is often despised. I have seen some renovated houses, but I can't see anything wrong with the design and construction. I just feel that the overall effect is not very good and I feel uncomfortable in front of me. Finally, it was found that the rough and cheap baseboard seriously affected the effect.

1/ The door cover and the skirting line should be the same color or the same color system. If not, the dark door cover can be matched with the white skirting line, but it is best not to use the dark skirting line for the white door cover.

2/ It is not recommended to use the finished skirting line, and it is not recommended to use the skirting line given by the flooring merchant. The quality of these finished skirting lines is not discussed here, mainly including installation technology, joint splicing, corner chamfering splicing, nail holes during installation, etc. Although the individual looks beautiful, it is difficult to guarantee the final overall effect. Although it will be mended with glue, it will still be conspicuous and delicate. Also, the color of the finished skirting line and the color of the door cover will definitely have color difference, lacking a sense of integrity. I have participated in some renovations, and the effect is not good where the finished baseboard is used, and even the overall renovation effect is greatly affected.

3/ It is suggested to make skirting or buy semi-finished products on site.

4/ Whether it is a wooden skirting line or a brick, it should be installed in a straight line, not with the wall. When dealing with the wall in the early stage, workers are required to pay attention to the flatness of the wall at the skirting line and deal with it in advance. If there is still some unevenness in the end, it is best to glue the gap instead of sticking the skirting line to the wall. Although the gap is gone, the skirting line is not in a straight line and twisted into a dragon shape, which is a very serious defect. Third, install the wall of the closet.

It is very popular to make embedded wardrobes or other cabinets embedded in the wall. The advantage of this kind of cabinet is that it not only increases the space inside the cabinet (it can stand very high), but also appears simple and generous. Inexperienced students may not remember telling workers that the floor where cabinets are placed and the wall beside cabinets must be horizontal and vertical. Otherwise, when installing cabinets, it is difficult to handle the gaps and barely fill them. The vision will be distorted, it will look rough, the technology will be inaccurate, and the effect will be greatly reduced. A set of expensive wall cabinets will be destroyed by these small details. Also, if it is a sliding door, the ground will be uneven, which will also lead to the seamless closing of the sliding door. Therefore, in the location where the wardrobe is installed, the ground and walls should be strictly horizontal and vertical.

What if, unfortunately, you encounter such a problem, the wall is ready, crooked and the ground is uneven? Let me tell you a remedy:

Cabinets are not connected by the original parts of the manufacturer, that is, the cabinets should not be fixed first and then stuffed into the wall, but thin sponge double-sided tape and glass glue should be used at the same time. The top, bottom and side plates on both sides of the cabinets should be attached to the corresponding walls without gaps, and the bottom plate should be horizontally padded. After proper adjustment, fix the eight corners on the inside of the cabinet with metal triangular fixing pieces, then put them into the main parts where vertical plates, horizontal plates and vertical plates are connected, and then fix them with metal triangular fixing pieces. In this way, we can't see the false vision of the whole wall and cabinet, and solve the problem that the sliding door can't be closed. This has another advantage over putting the whole cabinet in the wall, that is, it is more convenient to disassemble it if necessary in the future.

Fourth, give directions.

We always find fault with workers' skill in sticking bricks, whether the lines are straight, whether the bricks are on the same plane and so on. But in the end, the importance of pointing is often ignored, or it is not particularly clear at all. The quality of pointing is just like a girl's five senses, but if she doesn't pay attention to cleaning her face (of course, such a girl doesn't), there will be no serious change. What do you think will happen?

In fact, in my opinion, proper jointing technology and meticulous workmanship are the key to the final effect of wall and floor tiles! Even a good jointing can make up for some defects when sticking bricks. Therefore, this link must be specifically told to the workers. Generally, bricklayers despise pointing. If possible, it is best to supervise on the spot.

1/ When the whole decoration is nearing the end, tick off the seam to avoid being soiled by other processes.

2/ Go to the supermarket to buy high-quality jointing agent. This money can't be deposited. Inferior jointing agent not only changes color, but also has poor adhesion, and powder will fall off when touched by hand.

3/ Correct jointing method, I dare say 70%4/ Black jointing agent (or gray) is strongly recommended on the ground. Although a good brand of white jointing agent is dirty, it can be cleaned with a little effort, but only if you brush it and it is white after brushing. Usually it's not black or white, but gray! Fifth, doorstones and bay windows.

Door stones are used in doors, kitchens, bathrooms and other places, where we often go in and out. I found that some of our classmates are very concerned about the color and quality of floor tiles and floors, but often despise doorstones. Very expensive tiles are reluctant to use, but a few doorstones are reluctant to buy high-grade stone! . Speaking of this issue, I would like to talk about the proportion of funds allocated to ensure the overall effect of decoration.

In order to save money, tiles, floors, walls, cabinets, doors, etc., these large pieces, properly designed, cleverly matched, a little cheaper will not affect the overall decoration effect. If you want to save money, these are big heads and have great potential. For example, White Wall, 1 Nippon 3, Dulux 5, 1 are not much better than domestic products such as China Resources and Fuya, but the prices are quite different. The same Nippon brand, the prices of "3 and 1" and "Medley" are one in the sky and one in the ground. The propaganda of these manufacturers, such as wear resistance coefficient, mildew resistance, crack prevention and so on. , are all added values that we can hardly use. Where it cracks, it will also crack. 3, 5 years later, the wall is old and needs to be repainted. I've never heard of wiping a wall with a towel when it's old!

So some places, such as doorstones and bay windows, are small in area, but they are very eye-catching and effective, and it is worth spending more money. Regarding the variety and color of stone, it is necessary to balance according to the overall style, or consult the designer. When some friends talk about doorstones, they only have the concept of dark color, but it is not.

Tell me about the details of stone wrapping:

1/ In addition to the European classical style, try not to do the edge wrapping with complex shapes, which is expensive and cumbersome, and may not look good.

2/ In recent years, rounded edges are not very popular, and the flat small bevel edge is simple and fashionable.

3/ Reject manual trimming. Before buying stone, please ask whether it is machine cutting or machine grinding.

Sixth, lamps and lanterns

1/ First of all, you should know that light is a master of creating emotional appeal and enriching spatial changes, and it plays a much greater role in a delicate and beautiful home than many people think.

2/ There are concepts of main light source and auxiliary light source, which are the same in every room. The main light source is the special lighting of the pointer to a local space, such as reading desk lamp, floor lamp, chandelier on the dining table, spotlight for wall decoration lighting and so on. The auxiliary light source is the headlight in the center of almost every room. Many people do not have this concept when decorating their homes.

Ninth, glass glue and sandpaper.

1/ Since there is glass glue, the decorator will be saved! It can be said that in the final stage of decoration, most of the defects are made up by glue. Be sure to go to the big supermarket to buy it yourself, and carefully ask and choose according to different uses. High-quality glass glue must first resist yellowing. Glue itself is like makeup and decoration. Therefore, when gluing, you should watch the workers do it on the spot like gluing agent. If there are any problems, you should ask for redone immediately.

2/ Sandpaper is used for woodworking and wall polishing. The mesh number of sandpaper used in each process has technical requirements. It is suggested to pay more attention to whether the mesh number of sandpaper used by workers is correct during inspection. I have encountered many times that improper use by workers directly affects the final effect of carpentry or wall paint.
