The method of checking whether the electric meter is normal.

1. Observe the flashing of the pulse indicator light on the electric surface disk.

Cut off the main switch of the distribution box at home or unplug all the electrical appliances at home. After confirming that no equipment is using electricity, observe the flashing of the pulse indicator light on the electrical panel. Generally, it does not flash within 10 minutes or only flashes 1 time, and the meter is running normally. If the indicator flashes many times, the blood glucose meter is not working properly.

2. Transcribe the total power, peak power and valley power displayed by the electric meter for numerical calculation and judgment.

At the same time, the total power, peak power and valley power displayed by the electric meter are copied. If the sum of peak and valley power is equal to the total power, the meter will measure normally, and vice versa.

3. Turn on the electrical equipment with relatively stable power and observe the measured value of the electric meter.

Turn off all electrical equipment at home, record the display degree of the electric meter, turn on the electric water heater or rice cooker for a while, then turn it off, record the display degree of the electric meter at this time, and subtract the two degrees to get the electricity consumption of the newly turned-on equipment. According to the power marked on the nameplate of the equipment, calculate the power consumed by the equipment, and compare it with the power recorded by the electric meter to judge whether the electric meter measures normally.

Because the home test environment is not ideal, the voltage is not the standard 220 volts, which will fluctuate. Coupled with the influence of temperature on resistance, the results are often biased.
