Is Tanggu Mass Pit in Fu Gui Jiayuan?

Tanggu mass grave is not in Fu Gui Jiayuan, but on the north bank of Tanggu section of Haihe River, where stands a huge monument. The monument was erected by the former Tanggu District Government on 1992. The base of the monument is made of black marble and looks like a tomb. The monument consists of three basic marble pillars, with the highest one in the middle as high as 16 meters. The base of the monument is engraved with six powerful Chinese characters and inscriptions of blood and tears, meaning that the bodies of thousands of workers are buried under graves made of black marble. After the tomb, the solid marble column goes straight into the sky like a sword, accusing the world of the crimes committed by Cobain militarism in China. The stone walls standing on both sides of the tomb show that the human body was dismembered and the land was slaughtered. A round steel object hung on the grave by two chains symbolizes a wreath and an alarm bell, which not only expresses condolences to the victims, but also warns future generations. The painful history cannot be forgotten.
