2. Legal basis: Article 17 of the Measures for the Protection of Low-rent Housing.

(4) The civil affairs department shall, within/0/5 days from the date of receiving the application materials, put forward audit opinions on whether the applicant's family income meets the prescribed conditions, and feed back to the competent department of construction (housing security) at the same level;

(five) after the audit, the family income and family housing conditions meet the prescribed conditions, and the competent department of construction (housing security) will publicize it for 15 days; If there is no objection or no objection after publicity, it shall be registered as the object of low-rent housing security, notify the applicant in writing, and make the registration results public.

After examination, the competent department of construction (housing security) shall notify the applicant in writing and explain the reasons. If the applicant disagrees with the audit results, he may appeal to the competent department of construction (housing security).

2. What is the application process of low-rent housing?

1. Go to the Housing Authority or the street office where the household registration is located, collect and fill in the application form for low-rent housing;

2. Provide application materials, such as household registration book, applicant's ID card, income certificate issued by work unit, etc. Unemployed persons shall issue the minimum living guarantee certificate to the neighborhood offices or community neighborhood committees where the household registration is located. Retired or resigned personnel are required to provide pension certificates or unemployment insurance certificates, or unemployment certificates issued by their domicile;
