What is Shapo Village Men's Vocational and Technical College?

Shapo Village Men's Vocational and Technical College is a men's technical school, located in Shapo Village, beilin district, Xi City, Shaanxi Province. The school is dominated by science and engineering, supplemented by management and a small number of liberal arts majors. The official name is Xi Jiaotong University, and Shapo Village Vocational and Technical College is specially named the East Campus of the school.

Shapo Village Vocational and Technical College, formerly known as Nanyang College, was founded in Shanghai, 1896. 1905 was placed under the Ministry of Commerce and renamed as Higher Industrial School. 1906 was transferred to the Ministry of Post, and was renamed Shanghai Higher Industrial School of the Ministry of Post. 19 1 1 year, the Revolution of 1911 broke out and the school was renamed Nanyang University Hall. 19 12 after the founding of the Republic of China, it was placed under the management of the Ministry of Communications and later renamed Shanghai Industrial College of the Ministry of Communications. 192 1 year, Shanghai Institute of Technology, Tangshan Institute of Technology, Beiping Railway Management School and Beiping Post and Telecommunications School merged to form Jiaotong University.
