Community service in Jinlong Street

Jinlong Street takes the development of community service as the leader, actively expands the field of community service, and strives to improve the level of street community construction. Under the guidance of the district committee and government and the support of relevant departments, Jinlong Street in Liwan District transformed the fourth floor of office building No.299-301Guangfu Middle Road into a multifunctional comprehensive community service center in September 2006. The newly-built community service centers include community service halls, community schools, community training centers, housekeeping service centers, property management centers and retiree management centers. With the tenet of "people-oriented, serving the community", Jinlong Street Community Service Center adheres to the development idea of paying equal attention to social and economic benefits, promoting free of charge and guaranteeing paid, and has established various convenience services such as social relief, unemployment registration, employment introduction, domestic service, property management, family planning service and legal aid. At the same time, it gives priority to providing free and low-cost welfare services to the elderly and vulnerable groups. The center has established a community service information network mailbox and a community service call center, realized the "three-level" management network construction of districts, streets and neighborhood committees, published measures, service items and employment information online, set up a community hotline and electronic touch screen, and actively provided residents with various information inquiries and quality services.
