Changsha Southern Vocational College is a full-time ordinary college approved by Hunan Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province. By 2022, the college will cover an area of nearly 500 mu, with a construction area of more than 200,000 square meters, and there will be 107 on-campus practice bases, including 1 supported by the central government, 94 off-campus practice bases and 6 professional groups.

Twenty-seven majors (including directions) have been set up, forming a professional cluster system with information technology specialty group as the leader, intelligent building and intelligent manufacturing specialty group as the two wings, civil aviation service specialty group as the feature, and finance, commerce, education and art as the cross-integration, with/kloc-0 at the provincial level and 2 at the municipal level.
