Where is Bazhong high-speed railway station?

Bazhong high-speed railway station is located in the east section of Qinba Avenue, Xingwen Economic and Technological Development Zone, Bazhou District, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province. As of May, 20021,the high-speed railway station in Bazhong is still under construction.

Bazhong East Station is a railway station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and a station on the Guangzhou-Bazhong-Dazhou railway line. It will meet with Hanbanan Railway here, connecting Bazhong Station and enyang Station in the west and Zengkou Station in the south, which will be an important station for connecting Bazhong with Bazhong-Dazhou Railway and future Hanbanan Railway.

On May 22, 2020, the works in front of Bazhong East Station, Bid 6 of Hanbanan Railway, which was undertaken by China Railway Fourth Bureau, entered the construction stage in an all-round way. China Railway Fourth Bureau is responsible for the construction task of Bazhong East Station Project in the sixth bid section of Hanbanan Railway. The construction scope is 1.342km, which mainly includes the subgrade of new railway line in the new station, five culverts under the line, passenger platform, roads outside the station and subgrade slope protection works.

Significance of Bazhong East Station after its completion

After the rebuilt Bazhong East Station is put into use, it will connect Guangzhou (Yuan)-Pakistan (China) Railway and Han (China)-Pakistan (China)-South (Chongqing) Railway at the same time, and will bring Xiangyu Railway, Dawan Railway, baoji-chengdu railway and lanzhou-chongqing railway into the national railway network.

In the future, Bazhong will also build Guangzhou-Chengdu-Dalian intercity railway and Chengdu-Anyang high-speed railway to promote Bazhong to become a new transportation hub in northeast Sichuan.
