Evolution of Zhengzhou No.5 Middle School

Zhengzhou No.5 Middle School was founded in 1938, namely 1938 ~ 1943. The school for children with difficulties, the predecessor of the Fifth Middle School, is located in the original salt warehouse of Ermayina Road, Zhengzhou City. This is an abandoned compound. There is a building facing the street, with classrooms above and offices below. The bungalows in the yard are male and female dormitories, kitchens and so on. Its predecessor was the "International Relief School for Difficult Children" founded by General Feng Yuxiang in 1939, and it is one of the oldest schools in Zhengzhou.

1944, the predecessor of No.5 Middle School, Shengde Middle School (the middle school department of the school for children with difficulties) is located in the "National Martyrs' Shrine" built by Feng Yuxiang in Bishagang, the western suburb of Zhengzhou City. Bishagang cemetery is about 400 meters wide from east to west and 700 meters long from north to south. There are three doors in the north, and the middle door is the highest, which is the main entrance of the cemetery. Feng Yuxiang personally wrote "Bishagang" on the door. The Martyrs' Temple is located in the center of the cemetery. It is a group of ancient buildings and a courtyard. There are about 80 houses (with corridors). This is the former site of Shengde Middle School. After liberation, Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government took over the cemetery.

1April 944 18 Shengde Middle School moved west to Wangbao Village, Shaanxi Province, and the school site was located in Zhangjia Courtyard of Wangbao Village. The Zhangjia Courtyard is the richest man in dozens of miles in Fiona Fang, Fiona Fang, and the residence of Gong Sheng in Qing Dynasty. The house is huge, with six or seven yards and more than 200 houses, so it is called "Zhangjia Courtyard". The headquarters of Shengde Middle School is located here. The hospital can not only arrange auditorium, principal's office, guidance office, general affairs office, infirmary and kitchen, but also solve the accommodation problem of 85% teachers and students. The main school activities are also concentrated here.

1February, 946, Shengde Middle School returned to Zhengzhou from "Zhangjia Courtyard" in Wangbao Village, Fengxiang County, Shaanxi Province, and the school site was still in Bishagang, the western suburb of Zhengzhou City.

1948 During the summer vacation, Shengde Middle School moved from Bishagang to No.20, Caishi Street, Zhengzhou City (formerly Huamei Hospital is now the Third People's Hospital of Zhengzhou City). On the eve of liberation, many doctors and priests in the hospital left Zhengzhou for Shanghai. Shengde Middle School moved to the South Hospital with only 65 rooms. Office, guidance office, general affairs office, infirmary, classroom and girls' dormitory are all crowded in these 65 rooms. The boys who stayed at that time lived in a temporary shed.

1954, 65 houses at Cai's Street 120 were handed over according to the copy printed by the Real Estate Management Office of Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government.

1March, 1954, No.5 Middle School was moved from No.20 Cai's Street/kloc-0 to No.267 Nanguan Workers' New Village (now No.3 Nanguan Street) in Area 1 of Zhengzhou City. There are 3,450 square meters of three-story teaching buildings and two two-story gray buildings, which have teachers' teaching and research rooms, boys' and girls' dormitories and some teachers' dormitories.

Zhengzhou No.5 Middle School is a complete middle school directly under Zhengzhou Education Bureau and the first batch of high school enrollment schools in Zhengzhou. ,,
