General situation of Anqing economic and technological development zone

Anqing Economic and Technological Development Zone was established in August 1992, which is one of the earliest development zones in Central China. Approved by the provincial government in 1993, it was the first batch of provincial-level development zones in the province, and officially upgraded to national-level economic and technological development zones in March 20 10, named Anqing Economic and Technological Development Zone, and implemented the current policies of national-level economic and technological development zones. At this point, Anqing Economic and Technological Development Zone officially ranks among the national development zones. The overall planning area is 54.9 square kilometers. Anqing Development Zone is north to the railway station, south to Taihu Lake Scenic Area, west to He 'an Highway and east to National Highway 206, only 4.2 kilometers away from the city center, civil aviation airport and Yangtze River passenger and cargo terminal. There are also the earliest Taiwanese investment zone in Anhui Province, Anqing auto parts high-tech industrial base approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, national private technology enterprise demonstration zone, Xianghui property management demonstration residential zone approved by the Ministry of Construction, China Guang Cai career development base, Anqing port logistics park and other functional parks.

Up to now, there are 207 projects in Anqing Development Zone, with a total investment of 5.4 billion yuan, including 64 foreign-funded projects from the United States, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Hongkong, Taiwan Province and other countries and regions, with a total investment of 450 million US dollars, contracted foreign investment of 0.74 US dollars, and actually utilized foreign investment of 35.24 million US dollars. 1995 In the first half of the year, with the official approval of the Anhui Provincial People's Government, the first Taiwanese investment development zone and poverty alleviation industrial park in Anhui Province were also established in Anqing Development Zone.
