Convenient drop-off points are set up near crowded areas such as major intersections and large supermarkets, including 50 in Xiling District, 50 in Wujiagang District, 20 in Dianjun District, 20 in _ Pavilion District and 20 in Yichang High-tech Zone. If insufficient points are found in the operation, they can be replenished in time according to the actual situation.

During the epidemic prevention and control period, the Municipal People's Government took measures to wear masks in public places in the city, requiring residential quarters, public places, organs, enterprises and institutions to set up special collection containers for discarded masks. Each special assembly point is equipped with 2-4 discarded mask containers, and each convenient distribution point is equipped with 1 discarded mask containers. The container is required to use a yellow1.20l trash can, and the outside is marked with discarded masks and lined with plastic bags to avoid direct contact between the masks and the container. Each merging point is equipped with management personnel 1 person at the time of opening, with complete labor protection articles for management personnel, registration ledger 1 copy, disinfection tools and medicines 1 set, and collection clips 1 piece.

The merging point shall be operated by a special person, a special bucket and a special car, and the issuing unit shall register. During operation, protective measures must be taken as required to avoid direct contact between human body and mask. Before each operation, the special container must be disinfected, and the collected and transported masks should be sealed and transported to the designated disposal place.
