The company is located in Taicang Port, Jiangsu, which is known as "the first port of the Yangtze River". Taicang Port was the anchorage of Zheng He, a navigator in Ming Dynasty, who made seven voyages to the West. Shanghai in the south, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou and Nanjing in the west, and Chongming Island in the east. Jiangyin, Changshu, Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, Changzhou, Nanjing and other old and new industrial cities are surrounded by fans. It is a veritable power load center in southern Jiangsu. Hu Jia Expressway, Jiang Yan Expressway and Sukuntai Expressway pass through the territory and are connected with Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway and Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway. The golden waterway of the Yangtze River bypasses the harbor and goes straight to the East China Sea. The company covers an area of 2,000 mu and has 6 generator sets, including 135MW, 320MW and 330MW, with a total installed capacity of 1570MW. In addition, the company also invested in the 2×600MW unit project of Guohua Taicang Power Generation Co., Ltd., and owned 50% of the company's equity. At present, the company is applying for approval to build two 1200MW units with the largest single capacity in China.

The company has built a special coal wharf with two berths along the coastline 1.700 meters. The maximum berthing capacity of the two berths is 50,000 tons and 70,000 tons respectively, and the maximum annual design throughput is 9 million tons.

The flue gas desulfurization project of the company adopts the limestone-gypsum wet desulfurization technology of OI2-WFGD large coal-fired units independently developed in China, and the desulfurization efficiency reaches 95%. Won the second prize of "Development and Application of Core Technology of Flue Gas Desulfurization 0I2-WFGD and Complete Equipment" in Jiangsu Province.

By the end of 2009, the area of heating pipeline that the company has built and put into use is 15 square kilometers, the length of heating trunk line is 30 kilometers, and the average steam supply is close to 100 ton/hour. According to the plan, the company's heat supply will reach 500-600 tons/hour in the next five years, and all four 300,000 units will become cogeneration units, becoming the only heat source point in Taicang City and surrounding towns.
