Kemen Port Area is located at Kementou, the mouth of Luoyuan Bay, and two-thirds of the sea area of Luoyuan Bay belongs to Lianjiang Kemen Port. Kemen Port has the characteristics of deep water, shelter from wind and waves, large scale, large anchorage and wide and straight waterway. It is the main port area for international container, bulk cargo, large-scale mine construction and energy transportation in Fuzhou Port, and it is a rare natural deep-water port in China. In 2002, after the joint review by the Ministry of Communications and the provincial government, the planning of Kemen Port Area in Luoyuan Bay was incorporated into the overall planning of Fuzhou Port. Kemen Port on the south bank of Luoyuan Bay has been regarded as a deep-water port in Fuzhou, and it has been positioned as a multi-functional comprehensive deep-water port mainly for international container and bulk cargo transportation, an important port for foreign trade materials transportation in Fujian Province and its hinterland, and an important channel for Fujian's "three links" with Taiwan. According to the plan, Kemen Port Area covers an area of 63 square kilometers in the near future and 100 square kilometers in the long term. The living area is planned in Guanling area and extends to Chengguan. The total length of the coastline is about 30 kilometers (from Xinhui to Fuxi), and the south bank line is about 9.4 kilometers, and 38 docks can be built, including 26 docks above 10,000 tons, and the west bank line is about 18.9 kilometers, and 50 docks can be built, including 25 berths for 50,000-ton container terminals. The 40,000-mu Daguanban Reclamation Area and the vast Matou Plain behind it have the natural advantages of undertaking large-scale coastal industries and logistics enterprises such as petroleum, chemical industry, steel and electricity, and are the first choice for Fujian Province to develop large-scale port-facing industries in the future. At present, the 50,000-ton coal wharf and 65438+ 1 10,000-ton heavy cargo wharf of china huadian Kemen Thermal Power Plant have been completed and put into operation, and several 10,000-ton wharves such as Huadian Storage and Transportation, Kemen Port Logistics Co., Ltd. General Wharf, Lian Heng Company Wharf and Xingbo Company Wharf have started construction one after another.

Guantou Gulu Island Port Area is located on the south bank of Minjiang Estuary, where Minjiang Estuary enters the sea, surrounded by the sea. Wide land area, good cover conditions, small waves and good berthing stability conditions can meet the berthing stability requirements of container ships. The port area is 6.5km away from 104 National Highway. At present, the Bolu Bridge connecting Nagato and Bolu Island is about to be completed and opened to traffic. After completion, provincial highway 20 1 can be directly used as a port-dredging avenue. It's only 8km from the port area to shenyang-haikou expressway Junction Interchange. At present, the port area of Kulu Island can use 6 kilometers of coastline, and 9 third-generation container berths (50,000 tons) and 4 dry bulk berths (50,000 tons) can be planned and arranged. It is an ideal place for Mawei Port in Fuzhou to expand to Minjiang Estuary. According to the expert's suggestion, a deep-water berth will be built on the artificial coast of Liandao between Zhuji Island and Ishikawa Island. After the completion of the island-connecting project, it will play a role in blocking the hot metal channel, concentrate the branch channel water flow on the main channel of Ishikawa, increase the hydrodynamic force of the main channel, and scour the channel, and the water depth of the channel can reach more than 12 meters. The island-connecting project, combined with dredging of waterway and harbor basin, can reclaim land by blowing sand for 4 square kilometers, providing land for port construction.
