Evolution of Yong 'an County:

Yong 'an area belonged to Chu in the Warring States Period, Boluo and Longchuan counties in Nanhai County since Qin Dynasty, Guishan and Xingning counties in Sui and Tang Dynasties, Guishan (now Huiyang) and Changle (now Wuhua) counties in Song and Yuan Dynasties.

In the third year of Ming Dynasty (1569), Qin Long was located in Yong 'an County and belonged to Huizhou Prefecture.

In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), it belonged to the viceroy of Guangdong.
