Where is Shuidong Village?

Shuidong village, Zijin Street, Liandu, Lishui City, is located in the east of Lishui City, on the beautiful Nanming Lake, facing the urban area across the river, 4.5 kilometers away from the city center. Jinwen Railway runs through the village and the traffic is very convenient. Shuidong Village is named Shuidong Village because it is located in the east of Haoxi. East to Shuilinggen Village and Yaxi Village, south to Lubu Village, west to Haoxi Bridge, north to Huangni Village and Hecun Village. (1) There are 509 households in Shuidong Natural Village, 1 188 people. * * There are more than 80 surnames, the main surnames are Chen, Yang, Zhou and Wang. Shuidong Village Committee lives in the east of the city, with a flat terrain. Lishui-Wenzhou National Highway 330 is just in front of the village, named after the village is located in West Dong Ze.

(2) There are 75 households in Meixi Natural Village, 174 people. There are 26 surnames, the main surnames are Feng and Chen, which are 0.4 kilometers east of the village. There is a mountain stream in front of the house called Meixi.

1993 due to the need of Jin-Wen railway construction, Shuidong old village is planned for storage and needs to be demolished. In 2000, shuidong village approved the construction of Shuidong New Village, and now 1-2 has moved 337 households, with a total construction area of122,000 square meters, with an average per capita of 90 square meters. The third batch of 54 households, with a total construction area of 18325 square meters, is under construction, and the villagers have lived a happy life.

The village party organization has been the director, branch secretary and village party secretary of the peasant association for 65 years. On September 1 day, 2020, Ali Research Institute announced Taobao Village in 2020, and Shuidong Village was on the list.

Near Shuidong Village are Dongxiyan, Lishui Museum, the former site of Lishui County Committee, Lingshan Temple in Lishui, Tongji Weir and other tourist attractions. There are some special dishes, such as Lishui white lotus, Lishui orange, buttered chicken roll, fresh steamed fish and Jiukeng peach.
