Security, police, is it a family?

Security guards and police are not a family, but two different professional groups. Although both of them maintain social order, their responsibilities, powers and working methods are quite different.

Security guards are usually employed by private companies or property service agencies to protect personal and property safety, maintain order and prevent crimes. They usually have no law enforcement power and can only solve problems through persuasion and mediation.

The police, on the other hand, are state law enforcement agencies, responsible for maintaining social order, enforcing laws and cracking down on crimes. They have the power to enforce the law and can take compulsory measures, such as searching, arresting and shooting.

Although both security guards and police maintain social order, they are quite different in their responsibilities, powers and working methods. Therefore, we should correctly distinguish the responsibilities and powers of security guards and police, so as to better safeguard social security and public order.
