Brief introduction of qianhai new district

Qianhai New District is located in the west of Nantou Peninsula in Shenzhen, east of Lingdingyang and east of the Pearl River Estuary, including Qianhai, Houhai and Baoan Central District. The full name of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Zone is "Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone", which is located in the core area of "Qianhai Center" defined in Shenzhen Urban Master Plan (2008-2020), with a total area of about 18.04 square kilometers. The orientation of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone is "Manhattan" of the whole Pearl River Delta in the future. The planned Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Zone will focus on regional cooperation, focusing on developing high-end service industry, developing headquarters economy and building regional centers as the core functional areas for deepening Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation and promoting international cooperation.
