Nanping belongs to Nan 'an District of Chongqing.

Nanping Town covers an area of 17 square kilometers, of which the forest area is 2.7 square kilometers. It is connected with Nanshan Street and Haitangxi Street in the east, Tushan Town and Longmenhao Street in the north, Nanping Street and Huayuan Road Street in the west and Banan District in the south.
