The name of the alley south of Wangxing Bridge is actually named after this bridge. Wangxing Bridge is a bridge in the east of Suzhou City, which is located in the east of Cross Street and crosses the fourth straight river. Wang Xingqiao, formerly known as Wang Xinqiao, was founded in the Tang Dynasty. At that time, foreign passenger ships were anchored under the bridge, and travelers often expected letters from their hometown here, hence the name Wang Xinqiao.
