How to install charging piles in residential parking spaces

1. Confirmation of charging conditions

The key to installing charging piles is whether there is a fixed parking space and whether the property agrees to the application for installing charging piles. The confirmation of charging conditions needs to provide: an agreement on car purchase intention; The identity certificate of the applicant; Proof of property right or right to use the fixed parking space; Application for installing electric vehicle charging equipment in parking space (with property seal); Parking space (garage) plan (or site photo). After the vehicle company and the power supply company complete the investigation, the power supply company is responsible for confirming the user's power supply conditions and completing the preparation of the preliminary feasibility plan for self-use charging facilities.

2. Application for power supply scheme

After the user formally signs the car purchase contract, he can entrust the car manufacturer or 4S shop to apply to the power supply company for installing the cable. The power supply company will formally reply to the power supply plan within 7 working days, and then the user will go to the power supply company for confirmation.

3. Installation and construction

After the power supply scheme is officially confirmed by the user, the electric vehicle manufacturer or 4S shop will carry out the construction, and the selection of charging pile equipment should meet the relevant national requirements. The construction of toll facilities excluding civil works shall be completed within 3 working days.

4. Apply for acceptance

After the construction of charging piles is completed, users need to apply to the local power supply company for acceptance. After the acceptance of the project, go through the relevant formalities, and the power supply company will complete the installation and power connection of the meter within 5 working days.

Matters needing attention in installing charging pile

1. Do you have your own parking space? Is there any installation condition in the parking lot?

2. Does the property agree to be installed separately, and what procedures need to be prepared?

3. For the line problem, where to get electricity, how long the line needs to run, whether the transformer load can bear it, and how to deal with this problem?

4. Who will bear the construction cost during installation? Can individual users afford high fees?

5. Who will do the equipment maintenance after the construction is completed? How long is the warranty period?
