Mayi Manor Four Famous Gardens in China

The four famous Chinese gardens of Ant Manor refer to Humble Administrator's Garden, Summer Palace, chengde mountain resort and Lingering Garden.

I. Humble Administrator's Garden

Humble Administrator's Garden, located in Northeast Street, gusu district, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province 178. The Humble Administrator's Garden covers an area of 78 mu (52,000 square meters) and is divided into three parts: East, Middle and West. The eastern part is bright and cheerful, with Pinggang Mountain, pine lawn and bamboo house Qushui as the main areas. The central part is the essence of Humble Administrator's Garden, which is dominated by water, with lush trees and natural scenery. Buildings with different shapes and scattered heights are arranged by the water, with clear priorities.

The pool in the west is in the shape of a curved ruler, which is characterized by the separation of pavilions and terraces, the ups and downs of cloisters, the reflection of water waves, unique taste and gorgeous decoration. The main building is Yuanyang Pavilion No.36 near the side of the house. Although the overall environment of Humble Administrator's Garden is man-made, the wild interest of natural ecology is very prominent, and it still retains the style of the garden in the early Ming Dynasty. It is considered as a masterpiece of classical gardens in the south of the Yangtze River and a precious heritage of China garden art.

Second, the Summer Palace.

The Summer Palace, the imperial garden in China in the Qing Dynasty, was originally named Qingyi Garden, located in the western suburb of Beijing, 0/5 km away from the urban area. The whole park covers an area of 3.009 square kilometers (including 2.97 square kilometers of the World Cultural Heritage Area of the Summer Palace), and the water surface accounts for about three quarters. It is adjacent to Yuanmingyuan. It is a large-scale landscape garden with Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain as the background and Hangzhou West Lake as the basis, drawing lessons from the design techniques of Jiangnan gardens. It is also the most well-preserved royal palace and is known as the "Royal Garden Museum".

Third, chengde mountain resort.

Chengde mountain resort covers an area of 5.64 million square meters, which is mainly divided into palace area and garden area (lake area, plain area and mountain area). Chengde mountain resort is different from other royal gardens. It inherits and develops the traditional gardening concept of China classical gardens, that is, "the beauty of human beings enters nature, conforms to nature and transcends nature". It carries out site selection and overall landscape design according to the topographical features, completely relying on natural topography and letting nature take its course.

Fourth, stay in the park.

Liuyuan, formerly known as "Dongyuan" and "Hanbi Villa", is located at No.338 Liuyuan Road, gusu district, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, with Liuyuan Road in the south, Banbian Street in the north, Automobile Passenger Transport Group Co., Ltd. in the east and Embroidery Lane in the west. It was built in the 21st year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1593), and was later abandoned, 1953.

Introduction of four famous scenic spots in China;

I. Humble Administrator's Garden

Furong pavilion 1

Pavilion is a beautiful architectural form in ancient China, which is composed of surrounding scenery and flexible in form. Half of the lotus pavilion was built on the shore and half extended to the water. Lingtian stands above the water waves and beside the water, which is beautiful and exquisite. This pavilion faces the wide pool and is a good place to enjoy lotus in summer.

2. Tian Quan Pavilion

Tianquan Pavilion is an octagonal pavilion with double eaves, high eaves, a cloister outside, solemn and simple, with sills between columns. Surrounded by lawns, flowers and trees are sparse. There is a small slope in Tingbeipinggang with lush trees. There is an ancient well in the pavilion, which is said to be the remains of Dahong Temple in Yuan Dynasty, hence the name "Tian Quan". This well is not dry all the year round, and the water quality is sweet, so it is called "Tian Quan".

Second, the Summer Palace.

Suzhou Street 1

Suzhou Street, also known as "Commercial Street", is built in imitation of the water town in the south of the Yangtze River and is located on both sides of Houhu Lake. During the Qingyiyuan period, there were various shops on the shore, such as jade antique shops, silk shops, dim sum shops, teahouses and gold and silver jewelry shops. The shop assistants were all dressed as eunuchs and maids. The emperor began to open during the parade. Dozens of shops on the shore of Houhu Lake were burnt down by foreign powers in the tenth year of Xianfeng (1860) and rebuilt in 1986.

2. listen to the oriole house

Auricle Hall was originally built by Emperor Qianlong for his mother, with two stages. Because the ancients often compared the beauty of music with the sound of orioles, it was named "Auricular Hall". Before the completion of the theater in Deheyuan, Cixi often watched plays and feasted here. The tenth year of Xianfeng (1860) was burned by the British and French allied forces and rebuilt in Guangxu. Li Ting Restaurant is a famous court gourmet restaurant.

Third, chengde mountain resort.

1, Li Zhengmen

Li Zhengmen is the main entrance of the summer resort. The word "Li Zheng" is taken from the Book of Changes. "The sun and the moon are beautiful in the sky, and the vegetation in the valley is beautiful. It means "aboveboard door", emphasizing brightness and beauty, but turning it into secularity. There is a stone tablet engraved in five languages above the door, bearing the deep dream of the Chinese nation to return to the motherland and unify the world.

2. Jinshan

Jinshan Island was built in the 42nd year of Kangxi (1703), imitating the Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang. Rockery is piled up on the island, and temples are built on the mountain, with a width of five. Emperor Kangxi inscribed "Mirror Water Clouds Cen" and followed the steps to reach "Tianyu Fairy Field". Both temples were listed in the thirty-six scenic spots of Kangxi. There is a three-story wooden tower named "Shenting" to the north of the commanding heights on the island, which is the place where the Qing emperor offered sacrifices to Zhenwu Emperor and Jade Emperor. Although this island is artificially piled up, it seems to be made in the sky. Emperor Kangxi praised him for "climbing high and looking far, overlooking the clear water, like climbing a strange peak."

Fourth, stay in the park.

Jixian pavilion 1

Jixian Pavilion is a gallery pavilion, which was unknown in its heyday. Later, because there is a stone next to the green maple tree in the north of the pavilion that looks like Gideon, it is commonly known as Jixian Pavilion.

2. Wenmu Xiangxuan

Wenmuxiangxuan is the highest place in central China, with high mountains and cool atmosphere. There is a couplet in front of the porch: "The strange stone is full of eternal beauty; Osmanthus fragrans. " Osmanthus fragrans, namely Osmanthus fragrans. The porch is square, leaning against the cloud wall and built with a single eaves. Xu called it "Guixin Pavilion", Liu once called it "Restaurant Xiuxuan", and Sheng changed the name.
