Which district does Chaoyangmen belong to?

Chaoyangmen in Beijing belongs to Dongcheng District and Chaoyangmen belongs to Chaoyang District.

Chaoyangmen area is south of Dongzhimen in East Second Ring Road, north of Dongsiqitiao and across East Second Ring Road. The west of East Second Ring Road belongs to Dongcheng District, and the east of Second Ring Road belongs to Chaoyang District. Therefore, Chaoyangmen in Beijing, across the East Second Ring Road, belongs to the junction of Dongcheng District and Chaoyang District as a whole.

The Yuan Dynasty was called Qihuamen, from which all the grain in Jiucang was transported, and it was the gate of grain transportation. In 1950s, Chaoyangmen disappeared as a physical entity, and the modern overpass produced in 1970s became a new traffic diversion landmark here.
