Where is Yanqing Town, Yanqing District, Beijing?

Yanqing Town is the seat of Yanqing County and the political, economic and cultural center of the county. It is about 10 km away from Badaling Great Wall, Longqing Gorge, Wild Duck Lake and Kangxi Grassland. The total area of the jurisdiction is 75 square kilometers, with 45 administrative blocks and 14 property management communities. The town covers an area of 42,000 mu of cultivated land and 50,000 mu of forest land and mountain fields in Sichuan. The town has a population of 66,000, including 22,000 agricultural population, 24,000 urban residents and 20,000 floating population.

Yanqing Town is the transportation hub of the county, 1 10 National Road and Daqin Railway pass through the territory, and 9 19 bus station, Mijiabao Railway Station and intercity railway departure station are located in the territory. More than 40 county-level and village-level highways crisscross, forming a very convenient transportation network.

In recent years, after the demolition and transformation of old villages, Yanqing County has undergone earth-shaking changes. A number of modern residential quarters and commercial centers have been built, such as Shangshuyuan Community, Rulinyuan Community, Daguanjing Phase I, Shunzeyuan Community, Yuezeyuan Community and Jinluowan Commercial Center. The infrastructure such as roads, transportation, water and electricity has been improved, and an ecologically livable new city has been carefully built. Yanqing County has successively won the titles of National Ecological County, National Health County and National Garden County.

Guishui River, the mother river of Yanqing, runs through the whole town 10 villages, with blue waves rippling on both sides of He Jiong River, and birds are singing and flowers are fragrant. Forests, rivers and farmland crisscross, and the villages are quiet and natural, reflecting the charming pastoral scenery. There are Guichuan Square, Guishui Park, Sanlihe Wetland Park, Jiangshuiquan Park, Baiquan Park, Chengxi Park, Sports Park, Wanmu Riverside Forest Park and other ecological landscapes in the town. With the help of the new agricultural support policy, the facility agriculture in Yanqing Town has sprung up like mushrooms after rain. At present, it has an area of 4,500 mu, accounting for one-third of the total area of protected agriculture in the county, 2,750 mu of sunlight greenhouse, and spring and autumn shed 1.750 mu. And formed five major producing areas: vineyard, colored pepper garden, strawberry garden, fruit and vegetable comprehensive garden and mushroom garden. Among them, the grape planting area in protected areas reached 1600 mu. On April 28th, 2008, the Ministry of Environmental Protection awarded Yanqing Town the title of the seventh batch of national towns with beautiful environment.

Beiguan Longwang Temple

Located in Beiguan Village, Yanqing Town, Yanqing District, Beiguan Longwang Temple is the eighth batch of municipal cultural relics protection units in Beijing. Commonly known as the High Temple, it was rebuilt in the ninth year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (1473) and was renovated in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The temple faces south and covers an area of 437 square meters. There are three halls, one is the Fox Fairy Hall and the other is the Underground Palace.
