Can real estate developers undertake the business of property companies?

Real estate developers generally cannot directly undertake the business of property companies. According to the laws of our country, the selection of property companies is carried out through bidding, and enterprises engaged in property management activities should have independent legal personality.

Legal objectivity:

Article 32 An enterprise engaged in property management activities shall have the qualification of an independent legal person. The state implements a qualification management system for enterprises engaged in property management activities. The specific measures shall be formulated by the administrative department of construction in the State Council. Article 40 of the Regulations on Property Management shall follow the principles of reasonableness, openness, and adaptation of fees and service levels, and distinguish the nature and characteristics of different properties. Owners and property service enterprises shall, in accordance with the measures for charging property services formulated by the competent price department of the State Council in conjunction with the competent construction administrative department of the State Council, stipulate in the property service contract.
