Wall quality inspection

First of all, it is necessary to comprehensively check whether the walls that need to be painted in the room are solid and flat. If there are big cracks and holes in the wall, the developer or property should be advised to redo it. A single hole can be filled with gypsum.

Preparation before scraping putty

Ensure that the wall is solid and flat, clean it with steel brush or other tools, and try to make the wall free of floating soil and subsidence. Roll the concrete interface agent evenly on the wall as far as possible, and after it is dried (generally more than 2 hours), you can blow putty.

Scraping water-resistant putty

Before blowing putty, measure the flatness of the wall with a measuring ruler of more than 2M to determine the method of blowing putty. Generally, putty can be scraped on both sides of the wall, which can both level and cover the background color. Putty with poor flatness needs to be scraped several times locally. If the wall with poor flatness is seriously inclined, consider scraping gypsum for leveling first, and then scraping putty. The interval between each batch scraping of putty should be more than 2 hours (after the surface is dry).

Polishing putty

After water-resistant putty 1-2 days, putty grinding will be started. Polishing can be carried out at night, with a light bulb of 100 watt or more close to the wall for lighting, and check the flatness while polishing.

Brush primer

After the floating dust on the polished putty surface is cleaned, it can be primed. Primer can be brushed once, and it must be uniform. After drying (2-4 hours), the next step can be carried out.

coating

Generally, the top coat is brushed twice, and the interval between each time should be more than 2-4 hours (depending on the surface drying time) until it is basically dry. It takes 1-2 days for the paint to completely dry after the second coating. Before the paint is completely dry, pay attention to waterproof, drought-proof and sun protection to prevent problems with the paint film.
