Where is Xizhen Village?

Xizhen Village is located in Pingchuan, 4 kilometers northwest of the urban area, with geographical coordinates of 38 46' north latitude and112 41'east longitude. According to legend, the villages between Yuanping and Zhiyang in Ming Dynasty were collectively called Wanjiazhuang. This village lives in the west end, close to the main road, with a concentrated population and many businesses, so it is named Xizhen. There are 650 households 1.88 people in the village, with 6350 mu of cultivated land and per capita income of 3 1.94 yuan. Xue Mei Railway obliquely spans from the northeast side of the village to the south of the village, with a total transit length of about 2.5 kilometers, and four new railway overpasses have been built. 2 km of hardened village road. A new primary school, covering an area of 5994 square meters. There are opera fans' associations in the village, and there are prestige gongs and drums teams spontaneously organized by villagers. Xizhen Village is adjacent to Nanyang Village, Shangxuegu Village, North Jia Cun Village, Tianjiazhuang Village, Yangfang Village, Shennan Village, Nanyangdian Village, Houshacheng Village, Xiashe Village, Shan Zhi Village, Li Jiacun Village, Xiaxuegu Village, Qianshacheng Village and Xishifeng Village.

There are some tourist attractions near Xizhen Village, such as the ruins of Shanzhi Production Brigade, Tang Fu Temple in former Shashi, Tianya Mountain, Hutuo River Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Yuanping City, Wufeng Mountain in Yuanping City, and some specialties, such as Yuanping pear, avocado, Baitagang dry tobacco, Tongchuan crisp pear and Yuanping crisp pear.
