How did Wangjiazhuang in Xining appear in history?

There is no road in the world. If there are more people walking, there will be a road. Wangjiazhuang in Xining, Qinghai is a village born of "walking". In fact, at first, Wangjiazhuang was not called "Wangjiazhuang" but "Chai Xiaozhuang", and it had an unusual relationship with the famous Chai. What is the reason?

The story began 400 years ago. During the Wanli period, Chai Zhuguo, a famous soldier in Xining, was stationed here. Historically, Chai was a famous soldier who was "intelligent and brave, good at riding and shooting, and brave in the three armed forces". He built forts and watchtowers here (around Wangjiazhuang) to guard the safety of Xining.

At the same time, in order to strengthen contact with the city and facilitate transportation, he personally planned to build a wooden bridge on the Huangshui River in front of the fort. At that time, people called the built fort Chaijiazhai Fort, and the wooden bridge in front of it was called "Chaijiaqiao".

Chaijia Bridge was one of the few bridges on the Huangshui River at that time, which played a very important role in communicating the traffic between the north and south banks of the Huangshui River in Xining and facilitating people's lives. It is not easy to build roads, nor is it easy to build roads and maintain them. The maintenance of Chaijiazhai Fort and Chaijiaqiao is also a problem. At that time, it was borne by the people in Shatangchuan, Huzhu District. So there is a saying that "Chai Jiaqiao's husband is the foreman of Shatangchuan". It is said that some defending husbands live in the fortress.

After the completion of Chaijiazhai Fort and Chaijiaqiao, due to the convenient irrigation and transportation, soldiers were stationed, and some people came here with their families to live in Yibao. More and more people became villages, known as "Chai Xiaozhuang".

It is said that Chai also built a "firewood garden" here, with beautiful environment and beautiful scenery. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty, Yang Yingzhen, a Taoist priest in Xining, once visited the firewood garden and wrote a poem of thanks, entitled "Summer Visit to the North Shore of Huangshui", which reads as follows:

Dismount the dangerous bridge (Chaijia Bridge), and there are many fairies on the north bank. Milo, open the road and let go of the sky!

Therefore, Chai Xiaozhuang had a relatively simple clan from the beginning, that is, Chai's family and her husband who made a living by building roads (accounting for the main part). Later, Chai Ba was transferred to another place, and this place was left to his deputy Yang at the same time. After a long time, he called his fortress "Yangjia Courtyard" and the watchtower "Yangjia Dadun", but there were never many villagers. Until the early 1980s, Murakami

During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, when the government was managing Bao Min, it and Zhongzhuang in the east were collectively called "Zhongchai Village". In the following 300 years, Chai Xiao Zhuang experienced ups and downs, especially two Hehuang events in Tongzhi and Guangxu years. Several villages on the north bank of Huangshui River bear the brunt of this disaster. By the 1950s, Chai Xiaozhuang had only 10 households, and Chai Xiaozhuang existed in name only.

After the village was merged, people counted the population and found that there was no firewood, only one Yang, and all the others were kings. In the end, everyone decided to change its name to "Wangjiazhuang", but it was never implemented. It was not until 1952 that the government sent someone to verify the property of the land that Chai Xiaozhuang was officially renamed as Wangjiazhuang. Since then, Chai Xiaozhuang has become a historical place name and gradually forgotten by people.

This is the story of "Wangjiazhuang" in Xining. The ups and downs of 400 years can be said to be similar year by year, and people are different year by year.
