What is the German Transparent Quality Management Certification Committee (KTQ)?

German Medical Transparency Management System and Standards Committee (KTQ) is a high-standard medical management system in Germany. It is a joint organization, covering many doctors' associations, insurance companies, health education associations, hospital associations and medical industry associations in Germany.

KTQ is jointly established by the German Federal Health Insurance Company representing the interests of patients, the German Hospital Association representing the interests of medical institutions, the German Nursing Association representing the interests of nurses and the German Physician Association representing the interests of doctors.

There is no direct contact with the German government and health administrative departments. The purpose is to provide voluntary certification for hospitals, outpatient clinics, dental treatment rooms, psychotherapy centers, rehabilitation centers, inpatient medical and health institutions, outpatient nursing services, shelters and other institutions. The purpose is to promote the management and staff of these institutions to implement and continuously improve the patient-centered internal quality management system.

Extended Information The member units of the Medical Association of the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University, three medical institutions under the Gongshu District Health Planning Bureau: Gongchenqiao Street Community Health Service Center, Daguan Shangtang Street Community Health Service Center and Taoyuan Community Health Service Center respectively signed a memorandum of cooperation on KTQ international certification with the German International Management Committee for Medical Transparency and Quality, and officially opened KTQ certification projects in the medical association to continuously improve service quality.

This indicates that the affiliated hospital of Hangzhou Normal University has innovated the hospital management and service mode, and has taken a solid and powerful step towards building a world-class hospital. At the same time, it also marks the further opening of promoting the construction of "Sino-German International Hospital" and improving the homogenization management of medical quality of medical associations.
