However, in some places, conditions are limited, which is not conducive to residents taking out garbage. Legal basis: Article 3 of the Standard for Setting Urban Environmental Sanitation Facilities, the locations of domestic garbage containers and bagged garbage collection and stacking points should be fixed, which should not only meet the requirements of convenience for residents, but also facilitate the classified collection and mechanized removal of garbage.

In general, the service radius of domestic garbage collection point should not exceed 70m. In the planning and construction of new residential areas, multi-storey houses without garbage pipes generally have a garbage collection point every four buildings, and domestic garbage containers are built to place movable garbage bins (barrels). A drainage ditch leading to the sewage inspection well should be set between domestic waste containers.

Medical wastes and other special wastes must be stored separately. Garbage containers should be sealed and marked easily.

The capacity of various garbage containers is calculated according to the user population and daily garbage discharge. The total capacity of garbage storage containers must meet the needs of use, so as to avoid the overflow of garbage and affect the environment.
