How to test the empty drum?

What is the reason for the hollowing of the wall?

1, non-standard.

Wall plastering at the grass-roots level is not handled as required or grass-roots garbage is not cleaned up. Before laying ceramic tiles, check whether the plastering on the base wall meets the requirements, and the sundries, dust and dirt on the base wall must be removed; When the shop is stuck, the back of the ceramic tile shall be leveled with cement mortar or 107 cement slurry, and tapped with a hammer handle or a soft hammer to make the cement slurry fill the back of the ceramic tile and make the ceramic tile firmly combined with the wall foundation.

2, not flooding.

Not soaked or not soaked enough before paving. Tiles (especially glazed tiles) should be soaked in water for more than 2 hours before pasting. After the ceramic tile fully absorbs water, it should be taken out to dry in the shade or wiped with water. If the brick body is not saturated with water, it will absorb the water in the mortar prematurely, which will lead to the shrinkage and hollowing of the mortar and affect the bond strength.

3, not full.

When laying tiles, the mortar is not full or the tiles are not tapped and squeezed tightly. This is a case of cutting corners: to save cement mortar, or to save time. There is also a situation that often occurs when contracting for materials, that is, the quality of tiles is too poor, and the tiles are afraid of being smashed.

4. Precautions.

When plastering mortar on the back of ceramic tile, the edges of ceramic tile should be plastered with bevel edges, leaving some gaps in the middle, so that when pressing and knocking ceramic tile, the mortar will not overflow everywhere, and it should be full, and the ceramic tile should be firmly combined with the wall surface. After the mortar is solidified after the tile is laid, tap the surface of the tile with a small hammer to check whether the tile is empty.
