1. 2. At present, the rainwater pipes on the balcony are generally discharged directly into the drainage ditch on the first floor, and some of them are discharged into the rainwater well. However, the water in the washing machine is sewage with chemical components, which will cause soil pollution on the ground during the drainage process, and may also cause corrosion of buildings and aging of pipelines. It will be very troublesome to repair in the future.

3. At present, rainwater and sewage are separated in many places, and reclaimed water treatment is set up (required by individual cities). Rainwater collected on the roof and ground can be reused, which is mainly used for greening irrigation. If the sewage from the washing machine is mixed, the chemical composition of the water quality will exceed the standard.

4. The drainage of kitchen and bathroom belongs to sewage discharge. In the design, the water discharge of washing machine is directly set according to the sewage discharge. These sewage are treated by sewage treatment plants, and then flow out of natural rivers after purification.

At present, some developers of residential design have taken into account the location of washing machines, and set up sewage pipes in balconies and bathrooms respectively, but only a few high-end residential areas have them. If the conditions at home are not satisfied, you can see if it is close to the kitchen and bathroom, and you can lead a pipe through it. If not, put it in the bathroom.
