Secondary drainage: the key measure of toilet leakage

Waterproof measures

Caisson should be waterproof first, and then set up secondary drainage. In this way, even if there is a water pipe connection problem, the floor drain can effectively discharge accumulated water and prevent sewage from accumulating in the caisson and infiltrating into the downstairs residents.

Secondary drainage is not only the guarantee of leakage prevention, but also the necessary measure to maintain good neighborhood relations. For kitchens or bathrooms with sunken areas, secondary drainage is particularly critical. If there is no reasonable setting, once the waterproof work of the leveling layer is slightly neglected, the water infiltrating into the sinking area will have nowhere to be discharged. Over time, the bottom waterproofing may be destroyed, even affecting the neighbors downstairs.
