The Human History of Tengzhou Museum

Tengzhou City is located in the south of Shandong Province and is named after the hometown of Gu Tengguo. Taisong Mountain, with mountains and peaks in the east, and Weishan Lake, which is competing in Qian Fan, in the west. Population 1.7 million, area 1.485 square kilometers. Tengzhou has a long history. It is one of the birthplaces of ancient oriental culture, the hometown of Teng, Xue and Ni, and the hometown of Mozi. Many famous historical figures, such as Teng Wengong, Meng Changjun, Mao Sui, Feng Huan and Su Dongpo, have all been active here. Ancient cultural relics are numerous and rich, which have important academic influence at home and abroad. The most distinctive is the "North New Culture", and the Beixin site is located in Beixin Village, Guanqiao, south of the city. Northern new culture belongs to Neolithic prehistoric culture about 7300 years ago, which has a direct inheritance relationship with Dawenkou culture and is the source of Dawenkou. Beixin site is named Beixin Culture because of its unique characteristics.
