How to clean up the small miscellaneous fish in the pond

First, clean the pond thoroughly. Before stocking fry, drain the pond water, and clean the pond with quicklime, strong chlorine essence and other drugs to completely kill wild fish, snails, aquatic insects, bacteria and parasites.

Second, water source filtration can effectively control the number of wild fish, especially fry and fish ponds, and water should be filtered. The filter disc is made of polyethylene or gauze with 2mm mesh, which can stop miscellaneous fish, their eggs, aquatic insects and so on. You can also put the fry in a cage and filter them with a sieve with a mesh slightly larger than that of domestic fish. Most of the fish that can't be screened are wild fish.

3. Exposed aquatic plants When feeding aquatic plants in a fish pond, expose the aquatic plants in the sun for 1-2 hours, or soak the aquatic plants in 5 mg/L copper sulfate solution for 2 hours to kill fish eggs and small miscellaneous fish and shrimp attached to the aquatic plants.

Fourthly, fish nests should be set up in the breeding season of domestic fish, and fish nests should be set up in fish ponds with roots and aquatic plants, so that wild miscellaneous fish can lay eggs on the fish nests. Find fish eggs attached to the fish nest, and clear the fish nest in time. Or wild miscellaneous fish spawn on the fish nest and then sprinkle trichlorfon, quicklime and other drugs to kill the fish eggs.

5. Biological removal of carnivorous fish such as mullet, Siniperca chuatsi, Pelteobagrus fulvidraco and catfish mixed in the pond can not only remove wild miscellaneous fish, but also produce some high-quality fish and improve the efficiency of pond culture. In adult fish ponds or second-year-old fish ponds with more miscellaneous fish, it is possible to remove miscellaneous fish and shrimp. In order to control the number of fierce fish and not cause harm, fishing must be done in the pond. The specifications of mixed-culture fierce fish should be less than two-thirds of that of domestic fish farming, and no more than 40 fish at a time, otherwise it will hurt domestic fish farming.
